FL!P SME (Proprietary) Limited was founded in September 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, to address the challenges faced by SMEs. As an SME agent passionate about solving the challenges faced by SMEs, especially those of informal, micro, and small enterprises, the business also faced its own growth challenges due to economic pressures and business clients that could no longer sustain their operations beyond the pandemic.
Post the pandemic, FL!P SME has emerged as an entity that operates in diversified market segments, including digital technology, property, and property project management.
Our Expertise
FL!P SME has four strategic business units that render strategic services to help grow SMEs and individual property investors. We help SMEs to grow and create value for their customers. 70 - 80% of the SMEs fail in South Africa, approximately 1% of the businesses last between 1,5 to 2,5 years only, and the majority remain in the nascent phase (South Africa, DTI, 2008). Most SMEs do not have a clear strategic direction, goals, critical success factors and measurable objectives.
In a saturated market worsened by the pandemic, a lack of strategy, business plan, understanding of the external and internal environment, core competencies required to execute strategy, financial controls and good governance can render any good idea ineffective or unattractive for the potential investors and funders. Property Management and Property Asset Management
FL!P Propty is a registered property practitioner that provides property management and asset management services. The business collaborates closely with individual property investors and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them effectively manage their property investments. This includes generating consistent rental income and minimising vacancies. Currently, FL!P Propty manages a portfolio of over 20 investment properties and plans to expand its managed property portfolio in the future.

FL!P Repair offers property investment project services to SMEs and individual investors. The business unit works closely with SMEs and individual contractors in the property repairs, maintenance and renovations to deliver an exceptional and efficient experience for property investors in the Gauteng region. The aim is to create employment opportunities for SMEs, artisans, and contractors and help new investors and property investment startups or SMEs create and capture value.
